Expo |
When enabling RSS for a blog in Expo, it is necessary for users to share their blog with everyone. Previously, users were required to modify the sharing setting and enable RSS -- making this a two-step process. This has been changed so that enabling an RSS feed for a blog in Expo will automatically create a new share with everyone. |

| CP-1846 |
Journal Teams |
When a gradebook item was created at the same time as creating a blog or wiki, the selected gradebook category was duplicated in the gradebook. It is not possible to assign a new blog or wiki to an existing Blackboard gradebook category without creating a duplicate. A workaround was implemented so that gradebook entries created for new blogs and wikis are assigned to the Blog Project or Wiki Project categories. If the instructor wishes to categorize the gradebook item differently, this must be done in the gradebook. |
| CP-1864 |
Journal Teams |
Instructors were receiving Javascript errors when they modified the properties of a blog or wiki in which at least one group and/or one individual course member had previously been selected as a member of the blog or wiki. These errors were preventing the instructor from modifying membership of the blog or wiki. |
| CP-1867 |
Journal |
An error message was received when blog members created a link in one blog entry to another entry in the same blog. |
| CP-1873 |
Expo Journal Teams |
Some UNIX users were receiving error messages when attempting to upload images to wikis or blogs if they did not have the X11 libraries installed on their server. These libraries were being used to add the size to images that were uploaded when width and height were not specified, in order to improve performance and to meet accessibility guidelines. This has been resolved so that users who upload images in this case will not receive an error message, and the image will be added without the size being automatically specified. |
| CP-1875 |
Journal LX |
When a blog member permanently deleted an entry in a blog and another member of the blog immediately thereafter created a new entry, the new entry created by the second member was attributed to the blog member who previously deleted their entry. |
| CP-1882 |

If non-members were given permissions to view and add comments to a course wiki and a wiki member shared the link to the wiki with a user who does not have a login to the course, that guest user was able to view the wiki and view and add comments to the wiki, even if guest access was disabled for the course. This has been fixed so that course wikis cannot be viewed by anyone without a course login unless guest access is enabled for the course and the wiki is viewable by non-members. |

| CP-768 |
Journal Teams |

The setting for creating private journals on the Create Blog form was not clear. This has been improved so that instructors can select to create either a private journal or a group blog when creating a blog in a course content area. |
| CP-920 |
Expo Journal Teams |
It was difficult to distinguish different items in the Recent Posts and Site Navigation lists in blogs and wikis, especially when entries in the list were longer than one line. To improve readability of these lists, all lines other than the first line are indented for each list item, if the item is longer than two lines of text. |

| CP-1081 |
Expo |
Variable expansion can now be used in course and organization identifiers when defining relationships. This allows administrator to set up faculty advisor groups as blackboard organizations and then define expo relationships for the organization id ADVS-@X@user.user_id@X@. Advisors can then see their advisees in a directory relationship. |
| CP-1137 |
Expo Journal Teams Podcast Search |
Logging granularity is now configurable so that the level of detail recorded in logs can be defined by the administrator. This allows the administrator to decrease the size of logs by reducing granularity. Additionally, the size and total number of log files stored on the system have been reduced, so that logs are a more manageable size. |
| CP-1191 |
Search |
Search results now include summaries from all text-based documents including HTML, PDF, DOC, etc. In addition, the document titles are retrieved from PDF and HTML files, and HTML entities are unescaped in search summaries and contents. |

The "Adjust Logging Granularity", "Migrate Backpacks", and "Migrate Filenames" tasks that existed in the Campus Pack admin pages have been moved to a new "Upgrade Tasks" area, and these tasks now occur automatically upon upgrade so the administrator no longer is required to manually initiate them. Additionally, an "Archive/Restore Links" function has been added to this area so that links to Campus Pack tools can be preserved during the upgrade process. |
| CP-1460 |
Expo Journal Teams |

Search |
If a user performs a search in a course and then attempts to search in another course, the search performed in the first course is listed as a Recent Search. When the user selects the Recent Search string, the user will receive results from the first course in which the original search was originated. The Recent Search will now only display searches initiated from within the course in which the user is currently searching. |
